Exhibitions and Attractions in London for Valentine's day

Exhibitions and Attractions to see in London for Valentine's day

Just received a newsletter with a list of things to do in London for Valentine's day - so I thought to share it in a blog

London Attractions
Orchids and Champagne at Kew
On Valentine's Day Kew Gardens welcomes couples in love with a champagne and canapé reception in the Princess of Wales Conservatory, which will be filled with orchids for their month-long Tropical Extravaganza. This is followed by a luxurious four-course dinner in the Orangery, Kew's elegant Grade one listed building. For more information please contact Chloe Kembery on + 44 (0) 20 8332 5681.

The London Eye: Love with a view
London’s most iconic landmark is a romantic setting for Valentine's Day this year, providing couples with a Red Rose Flight (£45.00 per couple) to experience the wonder of the London landscape and enjoy roses and chocolates. Couples that want to toast their relationship on the special day can take a Valentine's Champagne Flight (£70.00 per couple) and very romantic lovers can book a private 'Cupids Capsule' (£299) including fast-track entry, a red rose, a box of Charbonnel et Walker pink champagne truffles and a bottle of Laurent-Perrier champagne. For more information please contact the London Eye press office on +44 (0)870 220 2777.

A fine romance at the National Gallery
For Valentine's day, the National Gallery pays tribute to lovers by exploring some of the most famous couples in the permanent collection. These lovers range from the mythical, biblical, right through to the historical and can be seen at various stages in their relationships; from the thrill of the first glance, to newlywed bliss. The guided Valentine's tour is free of charge and begins at 4pm at the Sainsbury Wing Information Desk. For more information contact the National Gallery press office on 020 7747 2865.
